Big Rainbow in Herriot Lake in Oregon
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I went into Herriot Lake a few weeks ago. 6 pm the sun was going down. Saw the fantastic image and had to paint it!! Took the shot with the camera. We were heading back to finish for the day. There is a deep hole that a rainbow or brown trout hang in. My buddy went through first. I took the camera shot and got the great image. Then-------my rod bent down and almost lost the rod!!! Had the fish on for about 3 seconds and the line went dead. Even though I lost the fish, I had a great memory. Here is the painting. (Almost done. Will touch a few places to finish the piece)

Thanks all!! It was fun. I went into Diamond Lake in Oregon last week. I do have a photo that some day I will paint another lake painting. Thanks again.
Wonderful painting Jim. and wow what a great shot you took.
Shame you lost the fish but the shot was well worth it.
Superb Job.

I have a question. Have you had problems putting in your latest work? I can not put in new pieces. They changed the set up in the blog. I can take the steps to put in the new work but the photos will not show up. Can put in text. Know problem there. MMMMMMM? I am doing something wrong.
Thanks again!!
Jim
No your not doing anything wrong Jim. It's blogger having problems with uploading images. The error is occurring with the blogger dashboard.
Mine seems to be ok today..I uploaded the update on the Kangaroo.
