International Miniature Show in Hillsboro, Oregon







The Glenn & Viola Walters Cultural Arts Center will show a Traveling Show of miniatures. Also there will be 7 miniature artist in the local area for the show. Another part of the show is a local artist with large paintings.










This is part of my dream!! I have wanted a International Minature Show in the Hillsboro years. What we do have at this time, we have the International Traveling Show, 7 local miniature artists and another artist from the local area with his large paintings. Opening will be on Tuesday 1st November.










I have about 7 miniatures at the show. Swing on by and have fun!!

Winter Streem

Retired VW


Just had to paint this miniature!! Size is 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" Acrylic. There is somethings special with VW's!! My first car was a new VW. I was single full of life and I bought a green VW. I met a lady and she had three children. In three months I was married and had a VW filled with children!! Had the VW for three years. Bought a VW Van. Had too!! The VW Bug was to small!!

This is a big Rainbow. I was fishing in Herriot Lake in Oregon. I hooked into a big rainbow and he got away!! The good part about being a artist is that you can make it as big as you want!!! (Maybe he could had been only 12"!!!)

I went into the opening of the International Miniature Show in Kirkland Washington this last Saturday. They had asked me to be the Judge of the miniatures. There were about 360 plus miniatures. A challenge but a joy!! At the opening they asked me to make a few comments about the 13 winners. That was a great trip and a great opening!! If interested swing into the Show.
